We give priority to registered patients, but will always try to see someone who is unwell.
The doctors work as a team which means you can choose to see any of the doctors available. Should your preferred doctor be unavailable the doctor you see will be able to access your records. Should you wish to discuss a number of problems with the doctor we suggest that you book a longer appointment – it is better to deal with one or two things well than three or four badly.
Email requests for appointments can also be made – see ‘contact us’ form though we do not handle medical queries or give test results on e-mail.
If you need to clarify something with your doctor, we have phone-call times allocated – see “Meet the Team” or else phone reception and they willl let you know when your doctor is available to take calls. Sometimes emergencies spill over into the phone-call time. If your doctor is not able to take a call the administrator will take a message and we will phone you back.
If you are very ill during surgery hours and no appointment is available, please tell the desk staff that it is an emergency and they will ask one of the doctors to speak with you.
PLEASE cancel any appointment that you cannot keep at least 3 hours before – we reserve the right to charge half fee to anyone who cancels later than this.
