A new study, from researchers in Queen Mary University, London has been published in The British Medical Journal. This new evidence shows that taking extra vitamin D could protect against colds, flu and other respiratory infections.
A review was performed looking at 25 clinical trials in 14 countries. They found that the effects were strongest for people with very low levels of vitamin D.
